Promotion of a milestone celebration

When York Transit started planning the grand opening of 6 new subway stations they came to Reef Agency for help executing the event. This was the largest expansion of Toronto’s subway system in nearly 40 years and the city wanted to mark the milestone with a big celebration. We handled the coordination of all event staff, logistics of promotional materials and the organization and posting of signage in the new Vaughan station. Reef Agency staffed more than 40 brand ambassadors and specialty talent for the 2-day event, including Brand Ambassadors to help direct commuters and answer questions, Brand Ambassadors to hand out hot chocolate and transit swag, and specialty talent, including buskers, musicians, jugglers and artists. More than 25 thousand people attended the opening events.  York Transit was so happy with our management and execution of their grand opening that they’ve asked for our ongoing support.
